Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dehradun – Drive to Sankri (6,400 ft) (190 km / 8 hrs)
  • Our journey begins with a scenic drive from Dehradun to Sankri, passing through pine forests, rivers, and picturesque valleys.
  • Overnight stay in a guesthouse/hotel in Sankri.
Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (9,100 ft) (4 km trek, 4-5 hrs)
  • After breakfast, we start our trek towards Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful frozen lake surrounded by pine and oak trees.
  • The trail is filled with snow-covered pathways and mesmerizing landscapes.
  • Overnight stay in tents under the star-lit sky.
Day 3: Juda Ka Talab to Kedarkantha Base Camp (11,250 ft) (4 km trek, 3-4 hrs)
  • Trek through dense forests and vast meadows with stunning views of snow-capped peaks.
  • Reach Kedarkantha Base Camp, one of the most picturesque camping spots of the trek.
  • Overnight stay in tents with a breathtaking view of the sunset.
Day 4: Summit Day – Kedarkantha Peak (12,500 ft) – Descend to Hargaon (6 km trek, 6-7 hrs)
  • Start early for the final push to the summit and witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas.
  • Enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the Garhwal and Kinnaur ranges.
  • Descend to Hargaon Campsite for a relaxed evening and overnight stay in tents.
Day 5: Hargaon to Sankri (6 km trek, 4 hrs) – Drive to Dehradun (190 km, 8 hrs)
  • Trek back to Sankri, celebrating the completion of the trek.
  • Drive back to Dehradun with beautiful memories and breathtaking photos.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (connects with Delhi, Mumbai, and major cities).

  • Dehradun Railway Station is well-connected to Delhi, Haridwar, and Rishikesh.

Regular buses & taxis are available from Delhi, Haridwar, and Rishikesh to Dehradun.

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Events:
  • If we cancel the trek due to unexpected situations like natural disasters, floods, or political unrest, we will issue a trek voucher instead of a refund. This voucher is valid for one year and can be used for the same or a different trek.

     

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons:

If you cancel your trek for personal reasons, the following policy applies:

  • No Cash Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds. Instead, a voucher will be issued.

  • Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Trek: A voucher for the full booking amount will be issued.

  • Cancellation 20–29 Days Before Trek: 50% of the booking amount will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be provided as a voucher.

  • Cancellation Less Than 20 Days Before Trek: No voucher will be issued.

  • The best time is December to April for snow lovers and September to November for clear mountain views.

     

What should I pack for the trek?
  • Essential gear includes warm jackets, trekking shoes, gloves, thermal wear, sunglasses, and a backpack. We provide sleeping bags and tents.

Is there network connectivity on the trek?
  • There is limited network availability in Sankri, and no network beyond that point. Enjoy a digital detox in nature.

How cold does it get?
  • During winter, temperatures can drop to -5°C to -10°C at night, so proper layering is essential.
