Barasu Pass

Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri (Drive – 200 km | 8-9 hrs)
  • Begin your journey with an early morning pickup from Dehradun.

  • Enjoy a scenic drive through Mussoorie, Purola, and Mori along the Tons River.

  • Reach Sankri by evening and stay overnight in a guesthouse or homestay.
Day 2: Sankri to Juda Ka Talab (Trek – 5 km)
  • Start your trek from Sankri, passing through dense oak and pine forests.

  • Reach Juda Ka Talab, a beautiful high-altitude lake, and camp by its serene shores.
Day 3: Juda Ka Talab to Kharsoli (Trek – 7 km)
  • The trek continues through dense forests and meadows, offering great views of the surrounding peaks.

  • Reach Kharsoli, a peaceful campsite with spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains.
Day 4: Kharsoli to Dhel (Trek – 9 km)
  • The trail gradually ascends, passing through alpine meadows and rocky terrain.

  • Camp at Dhel, surrounded by the grandeur of the Garhwal Himalayas.
Day 5: Dhel to Borasu Pass Base Camp (Trek – 11 km)
  • A long and challenging day as you ascend to the base of Borasu Pass.

  • Pass through glaciers and rugged terrain.

  • Set up camp at the Borasu Pass Base Camp, with dramatic views of the pass ahead.
Day 6: Borasu Pass Base Camp to Borasu Pass and Descend to Ronti Gad (Trek – 12 km)
  • A challenging day as you make the steep climb to Borasu Pass.

  • At the summit, be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

  • Descend carefully to Ronti Gad for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Ronti Gad to Hargaon (Trek – 9 km)
  • Continue your descent through scenic meadows and forests.

  • Reach Hargaon, a charming village in Himachal Pradesh, where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 8: Hargaon to Jangla (Trek – 11 km)
  • A gradual descent as you pass through lush forests and beautiful mountain streams.

  • Reach Jangla, a serene village, where you’ll camp for the night.

Food Menu

  • Breakfast: Wake-up Tea/Coffee, Biscuits, Aloo Paratha with Achaar, Boiled Egg, Bread with Butter/Jam, Fresh Fruits.

  • Lunch: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Manchurian Rice, Salad, Dal (Rajma/Mixed Dal), Mixed-Veg, Kofta Curry.

  • Snacks: Tea/Coffee, Pakoda, Finger Chips, Veg Cutlet, Maggi, Soup, Popcorn.

  • Dinner: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Matar Paneer, Mixed Dal, Salad, Papad, Sweets (Gulab Jamun, Jalebi), Fruit Custard.

  • Overnight buses and taxis are available from Delhi to Dehradun.

     

  • From Dehradun, drive to Sankri (can be arranged by trek operator).

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Events:
  • If we cancel the trek due to unexpected situations like natural disasters, floods, or political unrest, we will issue a trek voucher instead of a refund. This voucher is valid for one year and can be used for the same or a different trek.

     

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons:

If you cancel your trek for personal reasons, the following policy applies:

  • No Cash Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds. Instead, a voucher will be issued.

  • Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Trek: A voucher for the full booking amount will be issued.

  • Cancellation 20–29 Days Before Trek: 50% of the booking amount will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be provided as a voucher.

  • Cancellation Less Than 20 Days Before Trek: No voucher will be issued.
