The Jhandi Top Trek is an off-the-beaten-path adventure in the serene hills of Uttarakhand. Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Mukwa Village (Drive – 140 km | 6-7 hrs)
  • Depart early from Dehradun, enjoying a scenic drive through picturesque valleys, dense forests, and charming villages.

  • Arrive at Mukwa Village by late afternoon. The village offers a peaceful environment and a glimpse into local rural life.

  • Overnight stay in a guesthouse or homestay in Mukwa.
Day 2: Mukwa Village to Jhandi Top (Trek – 8 km)
  • After a hearty breakfast, begin your trek from Mukwa Village.

  • The trail takes you through dense forests of oak and rhododendron, offering spectacular views of the surrounding valleys.

  • As you ascend, the landscape opens up to expansive meadows, with panoramic views of the mighty Himalayan ranges.

  • Reach the top of Jhandi Top by afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.

  • Overnight camping at Jhandi Top with clear skies above.
Day 3: Jhandi Top Exploration and Return to Mukwa (Trek – 8 km)
  • Start your day with a beautiful sunrise view over the Garhwal Himalayas.

  • Spend some time exploring the top and soaking in the tranquil environment.

  • Later, begin your descent back to Mukwa Village, retracing the same scenic trail.

  • Enjoy the return trek, taking in the serene surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere.

  • Overnight stay in Mukwa Village.

Day 4: Mukwa Village to Dehradun (Drive – 140 km | 6-7 hrs)
  • After breakfast, embark on the drive back to Dehradun.

  • Reach Dehradun by evening, reflecting on the beauty and peacefulness of your Jhandi Top trek.

Food Menu

  • Breakfast: Wake-up Tea/Coffee, Biscuits, Aloo Paratha with Achaar, Boiled Egg, Bread with Butter/Jam, Fresh Fruits.

  • Lunch: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Manchurian Rice, Salad, Dal (Rajma/Mixed Dal), Mixed-Veg, Kofta Curry.

  • Snacks: Tea/Coffee, Pakoda, Finger Chips, Veg Cutlet, Maggi, Soup, Popcorn.

  • Dinner: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Matar Paneer, Mixed Dal, Salad, Papad, Sweets (Gulab Jamun, Jalebi), Fruit Custard.

  • Well-connected to Delhi, Haridwar, and other major stations.
  • Overnight buses and taxis are available from Delhi to Dehradun.

  • From Dehradun, drive to Mukwa Village (arranged by trek operator).

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Events:
  • If we cancel the trek due to unexpected situations like natural disasters, floods, or political unrest, we will issue a trek voucher instead of a refund. This voucher is valid for one year and can be used for the same or a different trek.

     

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons:

If you cancel your trek for personal reasons, the following policy applies:

  • No Cash Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds. Instead, a voucher will be issued.

  • Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Trek: A voucher for the full booking amount will be issued.

  • Cancellation 20–29 Days Before Trek: 50% of the booking amount will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be provided as a voucher.

  • Cancellation Less Than 20 Days Before Trek: No voucher will be issued.
