Nestled in the heart of the majestic Pir Panjal range of Himachal Pradesh, the Bhrigu Lake Trek is one of the most popular high-altitude alpine lake treks in India. Known for its mythological significance and panoramic views, the lake sits silently at an elevation of 14,100 ft, surrounded by meadows, snowy peaks, and ancient deodar forests. Just a few hours away from Manali, this trek is perfect for beginners and weekend adventurers alike.
Legend has it that the sage Maharishi Bhrigu meditated near this pristine lake, and it is believed to be sacred by locals. Even in early summer, when most of the trails are still covered in snow, Bhrigu Lake offers a spectacular trek with relatively easy access.
