Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Chopta (Drive – 200 km | 7-8 hrs)
  • Begin the journey with an early morning drive from Dehradun.

     

  • Enjoy scenic views as you pass through the picturesque towns of Rishikesh, Srinagar, and Rudraprayag, following the Alaknanda River.

     

  • Arrive at Chopta by evening, a beautiful hill station surrounded by lush meadows and forest.

     

  • Overnight stay at a guesthouse or homestay in Chopta.
Day 2: Chopta to Tungnath Temple and Chandrashila Summit (Trek – 7 km)
  • After a hearty breakfast, start your trek towards the Tungnath Temple.

     

  • The trek to the temple takes you through dense forests of oak and rhododendron, and as you ascend, the views of the surrounding peaks become more spectacular.

     

  • Reach the Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world, and spend some time exploring this sacred site.

     

  • From the temple, continue trekking to Chandrashila Summit, which offers a panoramic view of peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Kedar.

     

  • Return to Chopta by evening and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 3: Chopta to Deori Tal (Trek – 5 km)
  • After breakfast, embark on a short but scenic trek to Deori Tal, a serene lake nestled amidst the majestic mountains.

     

  • The trail takes you through dense forest, and the tranquil lake offers perfect photo opportunities with the reflections of the surrounding peaks.

     

  • Spend some time at Deori Tal, enjoying the calmness of the place, and then return to Chopta for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Chopta to Dehradun (Drive – 200 km | 7-8 hrs)
  • After breakfast, begin the drive back to Dehradun.

     

  • Reach Dehradun by evening, reminiscing about the beauty and serenity of your trek to Chopta and Tungnath.

  • Breakfast: Wake-up Tea/Coffee, Biscuits, Aloo Paratha with Achaar, Boiled Egg, Bread with Butter/Jam, Fresh Fruits.

  • Lunch: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Manchurian Rice, Salad, Dal (Rajma/Mixed Dal), Mixed-Veg, Kofta Curry.

  • Snacks: Tea/Coffee, Pakoda, Finger Chips, Veg Cutlet, Maggi, Soup, Popcorn.

  • Dinner: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Matar Paneer, Mixed Dal, Salad, Papad, Sweets (Gulab Jamun, Jalebi), Fruit Custard.

  • Overnight buses and taxis are available from Delhi to Dehradun.

  • From Dehradun, drive to Chopta (arranged by trek operator).

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Events:
  • If we cancel the trek due to unexpected situations like natural disasters, floods, or political unrest, we will issue a trek voucher instead of a refund. This voucher is valid for one year and can be used for the same or a different trek.

     

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons:

If you cancel your trek for personal reasons, the following policy applies:

  • No Cash Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds. Instead, a voucher will be issued.

  • Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Trek: A voucher for the full booking amount will be issued.

  • Cancellation 20–29 Days Before Trek: 50% of the booking amount will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be provided as a voucher.

  • Cancellation Less Than 20 Days Before Trek: No voucher will be issued.
