Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Gangotri (Drive – 250 km | 8-9 hrs)
  • Start your journey from Dehradun early in the morning.

  • Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful towns of Rishikesh, Uttarkashi, and Harsil, following the banks of the sacred Bhagirathi River.

  • Reach Gangotri by evening, where you can explore the famous Gangotri Temple.

  • Overnight stay in a guesthouse or homestay in Gangotri.
Day 2: Gangotri to Bhoj Kharak (Trek – 5 km)
  • After breakfast, begin the trek from Gangotri towards Bhoj Kharak.

  • The trail takes you through lush green forests and meadows, with views of the surrounding peaks.

  • Reach Bhoj Kharak by afternoon, a picturesque campsite located at an altitude of 3,500 meters (11,483 ft).

  • Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the mountains.

  • Overnight camping at Bhoj Kharak.
Day 3: Bhoj Kharak to Kedartal Base (Trek – 8 km)
  • Start the day with a steady climb through rugged terrain, crossing moraines, and rocky paths.

  • The landscape becomes more dramatic as you approach the Kedartal Glacier.

  • Finally, reach Kedartal Base, situated near the glacial lake. The views of the surrounding peaks, including Thalay Sagar and Meru, are simply mesmerizing.

  • Overnight camping near Kedartal Lake, at an altitude of 4,500 meters (14,763 ft).

Day 4: Kedartal Lake Exploration and Acclimatization Day
  • Spend the day exploring the serene Kedartal Lake. The crystal-clear waters reflect the towering peaks around it, making for a photographer’s dream.

  • Take the opportunity to acclimatize and rest.

  • Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and immerse yourself in the raw beauty of nature.

  • Overnight camping at Kedartal Base.
Day 5: Kedartal Base to Bhoj Kharak (Trek – 8 km)
  • Begin your descent back to Bhoj Kharak, retracing the same route.

  • The descent is much easier, and you’ll have more opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty along the way.

  • Arrive at Bhoj Kharak and spend the night camping in this peaceful setting.
Day 6: Bhoj Kharak to Gangotri (Trek – 5 km) and Drive to Dehradun (Drive – 250 km | 8-9 hrs)
  • After breakfast, descend to Gangotri.

  • Once you reach Gangotri, enjoy some time to relax before beginning the drive back to Dehradun.

  • Reach Dehradun by evening, concluding your unforgettable journey to Kedartal.

  • Breakfast: Wake-up Tea/Coffee, Biscuits, Aloo Paratha with Achaar, Boiled Egg, Bread with Butter/Jam, Fresh Fruits.

  • Lunch: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Manchurian Rice, Salad, Dal (Rajma/Mixed Dal), Mixed-Veg, Kofta Curry.

  • Snacks: Tea/Coffee, Pakoda, Finger Chips, Veg Cutlet, Maggi, Soup, Popcorn.

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Events:
  • If we cancel the trek due to unexpected situations like natural disasters, floods, or political unrest, we will issue a trek voucher instead of a refund. This voucher is valid for one year and can be used for the same or a different trek.

     

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons:

If you cancel your trek for personal reasons, the following policy applies:

  • No Cash Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds. Instead, a voucher will be issued.

  • Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Trek: A voucher for the full booking amount will be issued.

  • Cancellation 20–29 Days Before Trek: 50% of the booking amount will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be provided as a voucher.

  • Cancellation Less Than 20 Days Before Trek: No voucher will be issued.
