Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Kasol – Drive to Barshaini – Trek to Kalga
  • Drive from Kasol to Barshaini (30 min).

  • Short hike to Kalga village through dense pine forests.

  • Acclimatize and stay in homestay/tents.

Day 2: Kalga to Kheerganga (9,700 ft)
  • Trek through lush forests, waterfalls, and natural hot springs.

  • Overnight stay at Kheerganga.

  • Distance: 10 km | Duration: 4–5 hrs

Day 3: Kheerganga to Tunda Bhuj (10,500 ft)
  • Steeper trail through meadows and wooden bridges.

  • Cross multiple streams; camp at Tunda Bhuj.

  • Distance: 12 km | Duration: 6–7 hrs

Day 4: Tunda Bhuj to Thakur Kuan (11,800 ft)
  • The trail is scenic yet challenging with boulder crossings.

  • Cross a snow bridge or pulley bridge depending on water levels.

  • Distance: 12 km | Duration: 7 hrs

Day 5: Thakur Kuan to Odi Thatch (13,000 ft)
  • Gentle ascent with meadows and wildflowers.

  • Breathtaking views of Parvati Valley.

  • Distance: 8 km | Duration: 5 hrs

Day 6: Odi Thatch to Mantalai Lake (13,500 ft)
  • Trek to the origin of the Parvati River.

  • Sacred lake surrounded by glaciers and rugged peaks.

  • Distance: 10 km | Duration: 6–7 hrs

Day 7: Acclimatization Day at Mantalai Lake
  • Short hikes and rest day to acclimate before the high pass.

  • Essential for reducing risk of AMS.

Day 8: Mantalai to Base Camp (16,000 ft)
  • Steep ascent with moraines and snow patches.

  • Base camp lies at the foot of the Pin Parvati Pass.

  • Distance: 8 km | Duration: 6 hrs

Day 9: Base Camp – Cross Pin Parvati Pass (17,450 ft) – Camp at Pin Side
  • Summit day! Long day with steep climb to the pass.

  • Cross into Spiti region and descend to Pin side campsite.

  • Distance: 12 km | Duration: 10–12 hrs

Day 10: Pin Side to Mudh Village – Drive to Kaza
  • Easy walk to picturesque Mudh village.

  • Drive to Kaza, the gateway to Spiti.

  • Distance: 10 km trek + 50 km drive

Day 11: Drive from Kaza to Manali
  • Cross Kunzum La and Rohtang Pass.

  • Return journey to Manali ends the trek.

  • Breakfast: Wake-up Tea/Coffee, Biscuits, Aloo Paratha with Achaar, Boiled Egg, Bread with Butter/Jam, Fresh Fruits.

  • Lunch: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Manchurian Rice, Salad, Dal (Rajma/Mixed Dal), Mixed-Veg, Kofta Curry.

  • Snacks: Tea/Coffee, Pakoda, Finger Chips, Veg Cutlet, Maggi, Soup, Popcorn.

  • Dinner: Roti/Chapati, Rice/Chawal, Matar Paneer, Mixed Dal, Salad, Papad, Sweets (Gulab Jamun, Jalebi), Fruit Custard.

  • Nearest Airport: Bhuntar Airport (Kullu) – 50 km from Kasol.

  • Flights available from Delhi/Chandigarh. Taxis to Kasol available.

  • Nearest Railway Station: Chandigarh or Joginder Nagar.

  • From there, take a bus/taxi to Manali or Bhuntar.

  • From Delhi/Chandigarh: Overnight Volvo buses to Bhuntar or Manali.

  • From Bhuntar to Kasol/Barshaini: Local taxis or shared cabs.

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Events:
  • If we cancel the trek due to unexpected situations like natural disasters, floods, or political unrest, we will issue a trek voucher instead of a refund. This voucher is valid for one year and can be used for the same or a different trek.

     

Cancellation Due to Personal Reasons:

If you cancel your trek for personal reasons, the following policy applies:

  • No Cash Refunds: We do not provide cash refunds. Instead, a voucher will be issued.

  • Cancellation 30 Days or More Before Trek: A voucher for the full booking amount will be issued.

  • Cancellation 20–29 Days Before Trek: 50% of the booking amount will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be provided as a voucher.

  • Cancellation Less Than 20 Days Before Trek: No voucher will be issued.
